i've included some links from SWOS in a left hand block on the front page; i wonder if the membership would be interested in adding to the content or would want to edit some of the articles. we couldcertainly put up our own articles in a similar style.

their site too is v good and there may be ideas u may wish to include in this site -- let me know..
eg they have a page of their members location & adddreses which i could produce here with links to your practice websites and general contact and info...

if you send me your details i'll start to put up a page , which you can amend as we start to use this site more..

get colleagues to join too -- it's only a tenner for ncso membership and even if you can't get to many meetings, we intend populating this site with useful titbits and i'd love to see the clinical discussion area used too -- has someone any clinical cases with tests done and prog/diag/treatment....

we could for example use the poll function to poll members what they think the prog/diag/exam or treatment best choice is?

does anyone know of any clinical problems with film clips or similar exists online, which we could borrow?

get posting!

if you  want to "submit an article" it is at the bottom of the SWOS Links block on the LHS of the front page.

articles are usually longer than posts, and you can use the same code that is used in the forum (all the buttons are the same and they have rollover titles to help you know what they are. they can have pictures and diagrams and can on request for advanced users include html coding

 - but for now articles are set up like the forum. (articles don't show up immediately - they need to be approved by us here, and can then be organised and put together in a block say on the front page.)

in the future we may collate some our posts into articles

i hope this has been useful

do get back to me as you need
and do post that post or submit your article

regards
